In Memory of Louis Dellwig

Louis Dellwig

February 13, 1922 – April 30, 2012

Louis enjoying a feast of delicious food

By observation, Louis was the quiet one at the dinner table.  It appeared that he just simply enjoyed eating. In actuality, Louis had a big sweet tooth. In fact, he would eat his meal just so he could savor dessert. The day he admitted this to me he grinned from ear-to-ear, resembling a sneaky little boy who luckily never got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. From then on, when I helped myself to a freshly baked, hot-out-of-the-oven cookie, I snagged one for Louis too, so we could be partners in cookie crime.
